Whispered interpreting

Chuchotage (from French chuchoter)  is a form of whispered simultaneous interpreting for which no equipment is required as the interpreter, who is positioned right next to the listener, simply whispers to the listener precisely what the speaker is saying.

This kind of interpreting is suggested when there are only one or two users of a specific language involved.
As it involves both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting techniques, it is always carried out by professional and qualified interpreters.

"Come, words, away from mouths
Away from tongues in mouths
And reckless hearts in tongues
And mouths in cautious heads."
